Your child isn't just another booking

We're a small Wirral company, run by Ruthie: a drama facilitator with over ten years of touring theatre-in-education behind her, in the UK, Ireland, Spain and Australia.

That background is the whole point. Our team is hand-picked for acting ability and for being genuinely good with children: real characterisation, proper accents and costumes we're proud to turn up in.

We want to know the birthday child's favourite songs, their favourite characters and what will actually make their day. Then we build the party around that.

  • We have just had Wish Upon A Party for the 3rd year running this weekend and they have always delivered. Amazing entertainment for our daughter’s cat themed 6th birthday party.   • We had an Ice Princess party yesterday, and it was absolutely magical! The girls were incredible, they made my little one’s birthday so special. There was so much for the children to do: games, dancing and of course the highlight — Elsa herself! Everyone had the best time, the cuddles at the end had us all in tears. Such a wonderful day, we couldn’t recommend them enough! ❤️

  • Can’t recommend enough. Had my kpop obsessed daughters party at wish upon a party today. It was so good. She had the best time and so did all her friends. The staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. they catered for one child who had some strict dietary requirements. It was simply a stress free experience for me and a magical experience for my daughter. 5 star

Questions we're asked most

How much does a party cost?

We have several party packages, with optional extras you can add on. Prices vary with the length of the party, the number of children, the characters you choose and where you are.

Rather than quote a headline figure that turns out not to apply to you, we’d rather give you a real price for your actual party. Get in touch or message us on WhatsApp and we’ll come back to you quickly.

Schools, nurseries, seasonal visits and corporate events are all quoted individually too, just ask.

Can you come to my chosen venue?

Yes. We have our own venue in Birkenhead where you can celebrate, or we can come to you: a church hall, a soft play centre, a cafe, your home or your garden.

Whichever you choose, we bring everything the entertainer needs with them.

How far do you travel?

We’re a Wirral-based company, but we often travel to parties in Liverpool, Chester, North Wales and sometimes even further.

Parties beyond the Wirral may incur a travel fee. Tell us where you are when you enquire and we’ll confirm any travel cost upfront, with no surprises on the day.

Are your parties suitable for all children?

Yes. We do not discriminate at Wish upon a Party. Our princess parties and superhero parties are for all children, regardless of age, gender, race or disability.

If any of your guests have additional needs, allergies or anything else we should know about, please tell us at least 24 hours before the party so we can plan properly and make sure everybody can join in.
